Funds for Estella and Arnulfo
A lady that attends the church our Rohi missionaries (David and Luzma) pastor has end stage diabetes. It got so bad, her circulation became reduced and her feet became very infected with gangrene. She was in a ton of pain and unstable. So we paid for her medical care and got her stable. However, long term, the doctors felt amputating her legs was her best chance at a more pain free life. Recently, they amputated both her legs. Her husband, Arnulfo, has stood by her side the entire time. He can't work because he has been caring for her. He still needs to care for her for several months during her recovery. Their son was murdered by a neighbor three years ago (no justice) and their other son is evidently very poor himself.
They need money to live and for her medications (pain meds, antibiotics, etc), as they Mexican government is only paying for her leg amputations, not the medications she will need during her recovery. Her husband is her primary caregiver and cannot work. They have two sons, one of which was murdered three years ago, and the other is also very poor and cannot help them financially.
