Thanksgiving Trip 2025
Prayerfully consider joining us the weekend before Thanksgiving - Friday/Saturday, November 21st/22nd - Tuesday, November 25th. We are headed to Big Heart Orphanage Matamoros (which is about 20 miles outside town in a rural area) to serve for 3 days (drive down Friday or Saturday morning, serve Saturday, Sunday and Monday, drive back Tuesday).

Trip Itinerary
This is our tentative plan:
Friday
leave Austin or other location in afternoon and arrive at Big Heart Matamoros.
Saturday
Rest of group leaves Austin early and arrives late morning. Spend the day having a "Super Fun Day" of activities with the kids of Big Heart and Pan de Vida. We are open to using your giftings to bless these 30-50 children. Part of the group may also do maintenance projects at Pan De Vida, depending on the size of the group.
Sunday
Have a church service in the morning. Then in the afternoon, split the group in two - one group continuing fun activities with the kids and another doing construction/maintenance projects at Pan de Vida.
Monday
The construction/maintenance team will continue their work while another group does a STEM activity with the school that is onsite.
Tuesday
Leave early morning to cross border and return home.'
